Spices since 1950 and counting

Mohamad Abido Shehade founded Abido Trading and Industry Co. (the company) in Beirut in 1950 as a sole proprietorship. It was later restructured to become a joint-stock company in the year 2021. The company's main activity is in the food industry, especially in spices and seasonings. The company imports all kinds of spices, subjecting them to thorough examinations before entering the storage warehouse. Subsequently, the spices are ground, mixed, and packaged in various weights to meet the diverse needs of local and international markets.
The company is a leader in the spices sector, selling its products in Lebanon, the Gulf, European countries, Canada, the United States, and other regions. It holds the ISO 22000 certification for quality and is known for owning a retail store in Beirut.
